Split payment structure

Most bookings are charged as a 50% deposit at booking confirmation, with the remaining 50% automatically charged 14 days before check-in. Bookings made within 14 days of check-in require full payment at booking.

About the 10% retained on full refunds

The 10% retained on full refunds covers non-refundable payment processing fees. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Additional terms

  • • All guests must comply with the house rules. Violations may result in immediate removal without refund.
  • • All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by emailing TheDotyWI@gmail.com.
  • • The cancellation date is the date we receive your written request.
  • • For split-payment bookings cancelled 14–59 days before check-in, the 50% deposit is kept and the second payment is waived.
  • • Reservations are not transferable to other dates or guests.
  • • In the event we must cancel your reservation, you will receive a 100% full refund within 3–5 business days.
  • • No-shows and early departures are non-refundable.

This policy applies to direct bookings at thedoty.com only. Reservations made through Airbnb or VRBO are subject to those platforms' respective cancellation policies.
